Perhaps choosing a realtor blindly via the internet is not a wise idea, but fortunately for us, it turned out wonderfully well.  After we found a few condos we wanted to look at online, I sent three e-mail messages to 3 realty companies via an automatic forwarding website, all the while thinking that this method of choosing a realtor wasn’t all that smart!
Within 4 minutes I had a response from Barbara (no kidding!).  I figured the “Barbara Baker Team” was either desperate or fabulous.  Fortunately for us, the team was fabulous.  We were set up with viewing appointments immediately, and when Barbara herself was going to be out of town the first day we could look at condos, she set us us with another young member of her team, Lynn Ready-Aspiotes.  Lynn, too, was an absolute dream realtor, and she carried us competently through our sporadic trips to Pittsburgh to look (and relook) at various condos until we made our choice.
All in all, from the first prompt phone call straight through until two weeks AFTER our closing (just to assure everything was going well), the team could not have been improved upon.
