About Bethel Park

Bethel Park is situated in the south hills of Pittsburgh, approximately eight miles from the city.
From safe, well-maintained, family oriented neighborhoods, outstanding schools, and plenty
of shopping to an array of recreational activities and exciting events, Bethel Park has it all. It is
proud of its 11 community parks, the South Park Wave Pool and the Bethel Park Heritage Players Community Theater.

The area has a high owner-occupancy and low turnover which in part accounts for the strong neighborhood groups that preserve and protect it. There are homeowners groups, neighborhood watches and preservation organizations, all of which contribute to the sense of community.
